Falling Waters Falls is a 73-foot, free-falling waterfall in Chipley, Florida and is designated as the state's tallest waterfall. What makes this waterfall especially unique is that it's formed by a massive 100-foot deep by 20-foot wide sinkhole, known as the Falling Waters Sink. The water plunges into the sinkhole and disappears underground back into Florida's aquifer. Beyond that, scientists are unsure where the water ends up. The park also offers something else unusual in Florida: trails with hills (though they're not very long). If you're in the area, this spectacular Florida gem is not one to miss! There are also restrooms available near the parking area.
