Great Falls is a 30-foot, horseshoe-bend waterfall inside Rock Island State Park in Rock Island, Tennessee. This waterfall can be seen from an overlook at the Old Mill Gorge Trailhead. However, visitors can also go into the gorge to see it up close. The trail to the gorge is 0.1 miles. Once in the gorge, it's an open walk to whatever direction you choose. Hike southeast along the rocks about 0.2 miles to see Great Falls up close. The views from down here are absolutely spectacular! While Great Falls itself looks pretty cool, the unnamed waterfalls dropping from the sides of the gorge are arguably even more impressive. This place is truly a waterfall lover's paradise.
