Flume Cascade is a magnificent 300-foot, cascading waterfall located roadside off U.S. Route 302 in Crawford Notch State Park. Flowing down Mount Jackson in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Flume Cascade is easily seen from the road. A very small roadside parking area on the west side of the road across the street is the best place to park. If this is full, parking at the Crawford Notch Scenic Area is your best bet, as a short trail connects it to the roadside parking area. From there, cross the highway and the bridge until you come to the end of the guard rail. Then follow a short path to the falls. There are plenty of rocks around this waterfall with multiple cascades that make for a fun time climbing and taking in the views. If you're in the mood for another waterfall similar to this one, you can find Silver Cascade just a few yards down the road as well!
