The Nancy Cascades consists of two magnificent waterfalls in Hart's Location. The lower and upper falls are 45 and 80 feet, respectively. The trail is fairly strenuous, but if you make it to the lower falls, it's worth the extra few feet of climbing to see the upper falls directly above them as well. Due to the popularity of the more well-known Arethusa Falls and Ripley Falls nearby in Crawford Notch State Park, this trail doesn't see as much traffic, so the views are great!
Note: The trail provides a side view of the upper cascade. For a front-facing view as seen above, a dangerous climb down the waterfall is necessary and not recommended. Please use extreme caution if opting for this view.
