Hemlock Falls is a 15-foot, cascading waterfall just outside Moccasin Creek State Park in Clarkesville, Georgia. With those kinds of names, you'd be right to be hesitant visiting. Thankfully I did not encounter any poison hemlock or moccasins, as the trail is well-traveled and maintained. However, I did find an eastern rat snake enjoying the views just as much as I was! The trail begins inside the park and is filled with beautiful views. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
