Toccoa Falls is a beautiful, free-falling waterfall on the Toccoa Falls College campus in Toccoa, Georgia. Clearly, the waterfall is a prominent landmark in the area, and with good reason. At 186 feet, it is one of the tallest free-falling waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. It's also one of my personal favorites to visit because it is so picturesque. When the sunlight hits just right, you can even see a rainbow in the mist! Although it is a popular spot for students to hangout, the area is well-maintained and surprisingly peaceful despite the foot traffic. This is definitely one to put on your list! Be advised, however, that visiting hours are short, so you will need to plan your arrival carefully.
