Linville Falls is a beautiful, 150-foot, multi-tiered, cascading waterfall right along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway between mileposts 316 and 317 in North Carolina. The waterfall has three major sections, starting with upper twin cascades, a twisting section in the middle, and ending with a 45-foot plunge. From the parking area at the Linville Falls Visitor Center, hikers can trek roughly 4 miles through multiple trails offering various viewpoints of the falls. For the first view above, head south from the visitor center for roughly 0.7 miles until you reach Chimney View. Be sure to bring a camera, as this area offers some of the most stunning views in the Pisgah National Forest and is considered one of the most popular spots along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
