Long Branch Falls is a unique 60-foot waterfall tucked away inside Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. To reach the falls, you'll need to drive up FS-475, which is unpaved. The hike begins at the turn for Searcy Creek Road. There's a little room for a car or two, but you can also park at the lot for Daniel Ridge Falls about 0.1 miles away. Follow the road for 0.9 miles to reach the falls. Right before you reach Long Branch, you'll see a trail that ascends up the hill on the right. Follow that directly to the falls. While you could slide down this waterfall a bit, doing so is dangerous and not recommended.
