Lower Pine Creek Falls is a less well-known, 25-foot waterfall along Pine Creek in Utah's Zion National Park. This creek has formed the Pine Creek Slot Canyon, a popular canyoneering spot in the park, but the waterfall itself is overshadowed by the canyon and many of the park's other attractions. That, and the trailhead is not very obvious. In fact, there is no official location for it on Google Maps (see the trailhead coordinates below instead). Nonetheless, finding this waterfall is worth it! The hike is filled with great scenery, including some water crossings and boulder climbing, and the waterfall is very peaceful. During the summer months, the pool below is sometimes used for swimming as well, although swimming is discouraged in the park due to the presence of toxic cyanobacteria in the Virgin River.
