Nestled inside Gorges State Park in North Carolina is the 150-foot, cascading Rainbow Falls. A 3.9-mile hike will take you to see this waterfall along with Turtleback Falls, Drift Falls, and Hidden Falls, making it the perfect hike for waterfall chasers! Rainbow Falls gets its name from the fact that when the light hits just right, a beautiful rainbow illuminates in the mist.
Be advised that Drift Falls is on private property. You will be able to view it but not reach it.
