Cedar Rock Falls consists of 2 lovely cascades, a 20-foot namesake and a 15-foot upper falls, within the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. The town is home to a population of leucistic (white) eastern gray squirrels, so there's a chance you may spot one here, as it's not too far away. The hike to see both is roughly 2.5 miles round-trip, with the trail being easy to moderate in difficulty. Skipping the upper falls cuts the hike by only a quarter mile, so it's worth visiting. You can also extend the hike to see Grogan Creek Falls. While the parking area is large, it fills up quickly, so plan to start early!
