Grogan Creek Falls is a mesmerizing, 20-foot cascade within the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. The town is home to a population of leucistic (white) eastern gray squirrels, so there's a chance you may spot one here, as it's not too far away. To see it, head south/southwest from the parking area along the Cat Gap Loop Trail. After passing Cedar Rock Falls (including these falls adds another half mile to the hike), take a right at the fork along the Butter Gap Trail. After nearly a mile, you'll reach the falls. While the parking area is large, it fills up quickly, so plan to start early!
