Setrock Creek Falls is a majestic, 75-foot cascade located inside the Pisgah National Forest near Burnsville, North Carolina. From the Mount Mitchell Trailhead, a 0.7-mile trek will take you to the base of the falls. This waterfall has quite a bit of storm debris around it, but it's still a beautiful place! As you make the journey, be on the lookout for the elusive and endangered Eastern Hellbender, the continent's largest salamander, which is known to inhabit the South Toe River.
