French Broad Falls is a lovely, 15-foot waterfall in the quaint mountain town of Balsam Grove, North Carolina. A short 0.1-mile trek in total will take you to see it. This waterfall also has a twin right next to it, Shoal Creek Falls. Both waterfalls converge into the North Fork French Broad River, the same river that flows right through Asheville. To access the falls, there is a small roadside parking area for 8-10 cars.
For an extended adventure, continue along the trail to see Pulpit Falls and Bird Rock Falls.
