Fall Creek Falls is the namesake waterfall of Fall Creek Falls State Park. At 256 feet, this free-falling waterfall is the tallest in the eastern United States. From the Fall Creek Falls parking area, it's a short 0.35-mile hike via the Base of Falls Trail to the base, which offers a cool and magnificent pool for swimming. You can also get an overlook view via the Woodland and Overlook Trails. Additionally, the park houses Piney Falls, Cane Creek Falls, Cane Creek Cascades, and two seasonal waterfalls, Coon Creek Falls and Rockhouse Falls, which share plunge basins with Fall Creek Falls and Cane Creek Falls, respectively. With miles of trails, boat rentals, and camping options, you can make an entire day out of a visit!
