Moore Cove Falls is a 50-foot, cascading-to-freefalling waterfall located in the Pisgah National Forest. Pictures and videos don't do this one justice. This waterfall is especially cool because you can walk behind it, which leads to some unique views! The moore you know!
Most people stop here, but there are actually 3 other waterfalls you can see on this trail. At 0.7 miles into the hike, a 0.1-mile spur trail on the left will lead you to Little Moore Cove Falls, which looks very similar and stands 40 feet tall. Ascending up and around the waterfall and continuing upstream will lead to Upper Little Moore Cove Falls, which stands at about 25 feet tall.
Lastly, ascending steeply up the left side of Moore Cove Falls will take you to Upper Moore Cove Falls, also known as Tiny Falls. This waterfall is about 15 feet tall.
