The Vickery Creek Waterfall is the result of a 27-foot dam constructed by the Roswell Manufacturing Company in 1836 for hydro-powered mills. Also referred to as the Old Mill Waterfall and Roswell Mill Waterfall, I'd like to offer a 4th name: Butterscotch Falls, named for the water color that occurs after a heavy storm.
From the parking area, there are two ways to view the falls, each about 0.25 miles one way. From the north side of the creek, follow the trail east until you reach the final overlook. Alternatively, walk across the covered bridge to the south side of the creek. After climbing the stairs, turn left, following the blue-blazed trail east. At the fork, stay to the left and follow t he trail down to the falls. The view from the south side of the creek is a bit more obstructed by foliage, but it's more scenic overall.
I would recommend a stop if you're in the area! This park also has about 4 miles in total of trails to explore, restrooms, and a rich history surrounding the mills.
