Named after the crabapple trees in the surrounding area, Crabtree Falls is a beautiful, 60-foot, cascading waterfall right along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway off milepost 339 in North Carolina. To get to the falls, hikers can park at the Crabtree Falls Campground and then hike the moderately strenuous 3-mile loop, going right at the fork, where the falls can be seen about a mile in. On the way back, the path meanders alongside Crabtree Creek before returning to the lot. This waterfall is a personal favorite of mine!
