Elakala Falls is a series of 4 small cascades that flow along Shay Run towards the Blackwater Canyon inside Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. The first cascade, seen above, drops 35 feet under a scenic walkway bridge. The other falls are not part of the official Elakala Trail and are a bit more difficult to access. However, should you find them, they are 15 feet, 40 feet, and 20 feet tall, respectively. Along with a gift shop and restrooms, visitors can also check out Blackwater Falls and many other areas in the park. For a park map, click here.
