Silver Falls is a 210-foot, underground waterfall located 300 feet beneath the surface inside Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend, Tennessee. This waterfall also has the special designation of being the 300th waterfall I've visited!  It is also the tallest subterranean waterfall in the eastern United States, though only about 50 feet of the lower portion is visible on the guided tour through the cave.
To access this ancient waterfall, take the guided tour, which lasts roughly 60-90 minutes and covers 1.5 miles. During this tour, you'll also see the 15-million-year-old Flowstone Falls.
